Its an easy farm and until you get an antagonist, it will should carry you through most of UVHM. I would go and farm the treants for one every few levels or whenever you think that you need one. Instead of nerfing the Bee, Gearbox just made the UVHM difficulty harder to compensate for the strength of the Bee and thereby making most other equipment obsolete. Part of the problem with difficulty with UVHM is because of the Bee shield. Once you figure out how to beat him, he can be farmed efficiently anytime that you feel that your equipment isn't up to the task. The loot train is usually a good assortment of weapons, shieds, grenade mods, class mods, and eridium. Originally posted by Fredericks of Cursewood:It's worthwhile to do the Mercenary Day headhunter dlc early in UVHM. Is there any more info I should know, or anything I got wrong? Right now I'm going for a good Lascaux with Flying ot Stopping with preferably a Dahl grip, and I plan on getting a new version of my Bee, Harold, Lascaux, and Lyuda every 3-4 levels. I am very aware about these drops and this type of Info, and I realized it today, and also realized that I need to get a new Bee Shield (I get it from the Treeants, as Hunter isn't available yet), as mine was 6 levels under, I've gotten to UVHM and Level 72 before with Krieg, and because he doesn't require much gear for melee builds, I wasn't sure what to use, I've been in this game and community for several years, but never had the experiences in UVHM, secondly, yes, the Lyuda is available right now, I accepted the quest before I started Bright Lights, Flying City. Leveling is an incidental process that occurs while you're doing that (and which actively works against you). UVHM is about keeping your gear up to date and effective. Weapons age based on level disparity, and every time you level in UVHM, so do your enemies. Originally posted by Nakos:If you've reached level 56, and you're still using old level 50ish Sand Hawks, that's part of your problem. Those also lower your cooldown skill, and also buff an elemental skills (Fire, Shock or Corrosion). Keep your eye out for Bones of the Ancients. A Legendary Cat is good too, but you won't start seeing those before the early 60's. They boost Gun damage, and lower your action skill cooldown. Try to get yourself a Legendary Siren mod (those can drop at any level). With those three skills, Maya can consistently, repeatedly slag half the map. Take a look at the spec Draekus showed you, there are three key skills for Maya: Ruin, Converge and Cloud Kill. Those three guns are all very easy to get and very easy to keep updated. The Hornet drops from Knuckle Dragger, back on the Southern Shelf. The Unkempt Harold drops from Savage Lee, who hangs around in the Marrow Fields. The Unkempt Harold (don't bother with a DP version) and the Hornet are also both easy to get and to replace whenever you want. It's not a quest reward, it's just a drop in Frostburn Canyon. You can go get a new Lascaux every level if you want. Lascauxs are very easy to get, look at the wiki link I listed in my earlier post. That's part of why I suggested you get yourself a Lascaux. No matter how good it was when it was new, by 56, most of it is junk. Hanging on to your aging gear is part of your problem. If you're playing in UVHM, then you need to be using UVHM gear. The game has an aggressive gear obsolescence curve, but the higher level you are, the steeper that curve is. If you've reached level 56, and you're still using old level 50ish Sand Hawks, that's part of your problem.
